What is a Street Team?

A street team is a group of people committed to promoting a certain artist; in this case Hana Pestle.  A street team member promotes the artist using various tools and carrying out missions, challenges, and other activities.  The aim is to ultimately raise awareness about Hana's music, and get more people to cross over to the dark side!  :)

What are points?

Points are what you earn when you complete certain tasks for the Street Team.  The points are here to motivate you!  We want you to be rewarded for all of your hard work.  The more you promote, the more points you get which in turn helps you cash in to receive awesome prizes.

How can I earn points?

Virtually anything you do to promote Hana will get you the appropriate number of points.  Whether it's through completing missions, challenges, creating graphics, uploading media, or even participating in the forums, you'll be compensated for your work.

What are objectives?

Objectives are tasks assigned to street team members.  A member can complete the objectives as many times as they want to earn points.

What are challenges?

Challenges are time sensitive special objectives.   

I've completed an objective.  How do I get my points?

Simply click the 'get points' link at the top of the page, fill out the report completely and submit it.  The team leader will review your report and award you the appropriate amount of points.

What are rewards?

Rewards are what you can spend your points on.  You can redeem your points (when you have enough to cash in) on signed merch, EPs, and whatever else you see in the store!

What kind of tools can we use to promote Hana?

The street team provides a number of banners, ecards, press images, and more!  You can even create your own banners for points.  

What are the forums?

The forums are message boards built into the street team where members can interact with each other.  You can discuss strategies, meetups at Hana shows, ask questions, and anything else within reason.

How do I view my account activity?

To view your account activity, login to the team and click on "View Your Account." From here, you can see all of the projects and challenges you've participated in, as well as see how many points you have earned and how many you've spent.

What is the media section?

Here you can upload your very own photos of Hana (or you with an Hana), as well as video that you've taken and posted onto YouTube, or any video hosting website. This is a way for you to share your own personal experiences with the whole team.  Please only submit media that you have created.  You will not receive points for submitting media that does not belong to you.

How do I edit my profile?

To edit your profile, login to the Hana team and click on 'Edit Your Account'.  On this page, you can edit your info, change your password, as well as upload a user icon or photo. You can also include some information about yourself to help others get to know you better on the team.

Why do I have to submit my password to access the forums sometimes?

This is in order to cut down on spam. This should prevent spammers from having access to posting anything on the team message board.

How much does it cost?

The Hana Pestle ST is free for all members!

How long do I have to commit for?

Help as much as you'd like!  Members that stick around longer and work harder will benefit the most, but there are no rules requiring you to stay active. All we ask is that you login as often as you want to keep up with the team and promote as much as you can.
